As good as The Mortal Instruments series is, I really loved reading The Infernal Devices. For Tessa, she and her friends must find some way to stop them, and soon. The only way for the Pandemonium Club to be stopped is by the Shadowhunters, humans with angel blood that slay demons to make the mortal world a better place. This is a group of vampires, demons, warlocks, and humans, all working together to take down the British Empire. As she falls into the world of Shadowhunters, she also learns about the war bound to happen between the Shadowhunters and the Pandemonium Club. On the way, she meets the members of the Shadowhunters world, including Jem Carstairs and Will Herondale, who she finds herself instantly attracted to. Our main character, Tessa Gray, goes to London in search of her missing brother. After a peace treaty was signed between the two worlds we focused on, in “The Mortal Instruments,” the Shadowhunters and the Downworlders, a brutal war is brewing in the Shadowhunters world.
